WELCOME

In the Episcopal Church there is room for your questions about God, faith and the church. If you are looking for a community that will nurture your spirit and celebrate your gifts, there’s a place for you here.

Inviting: We will bear witness to God’s reconciling love across boundaries of race and class, generation and language.

Forming: We will work, study, pray and give for our lifelong conversion in Christ.

Sending: We will send one another in the power of the Spirit into the ministries of our daily lives.

Serving: We will show forth the just reign of God in advocacy and action.

OUR MISSION

Church of Our Saviour is an Episcopal community with a rich history of providing opportunities for religious observance, spiritual growth, and fellowship to its members and the greater community. COOS offers refuge, and is a safe, welcoming place for individuals and families to worship and to participate in ministries in Christ. With a positive attitude toward people and the community, COOS supports a commitment to fostering an active, Christian lifestyle for its members and all who choose to participate. We are oriented toward fellowship and ministry through education, action, and service. We encourage all God’s people to come together in worship and fellowship to gain a deeper understanding of our Saviour’s love and grace.

Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a rector for Church of Our Saviour, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.  (BCP)
